About this Deployment

We are excited to announce that Tellor, the decentralized, permissionless oracle protocol, has officially deployed on Lisk, a Layer 2 (L2) network designed to offer a cost-efficient, fast, and scalable solution for the Ethereum ecosystem. By utilizing the Optimism (OP) Stack and being secured by Ethereum, Lisk aims to contribute to scaling the Ethereum network to support mass adoption, and Tellor is proud to bring its censorship-resistant, decentralized data feeds to this innovative ecosystem.

Why Lisk?

Lisk’s focus on scalability and interoperability makes it a natural fit for Tellor’s oracle services. Built on the MIT-licensed OP Stack and leveraging Gelato as a Relay-as-a-Service (RaaS) provider, Lisk is part of the Optimism Superchain initiative. This means Lisk is collaborating on a future of interoperable, seamless blockchains with shared liquidity, cheap transactions, and user-friendly experiences—all built on a network secured by Ethereum.

With an EVM-equivalent blockchain, Lisk ensures compatibility with the most widely-used tooling in the blockchain space, making it an attractive platform for developers seeking to build efficient, scalable applications. Tellor complements Lisk’s mission by bringing decentralized, tamper-resistant data feeds to the network, empowering developers with reliable data to support various use cases, from DeFi to NFTs and beyond.

What This Means for the Ecosystem

Tellor’s deployment to Lisk means that developers building on this L2 network now have access to a decentralized oracle service that provides accurate, censorship-resistant data. This integration not only supports Lisk’s efforts to create an efficient and cost-effective Layer 2 solution but also extends the capabilities of dApps on the network, ensuring they have access to secure data that can be seamlessly integrated into their smart contracts.

By combining the scalability and interoperability of Lisk with Tellor’s robust data feeds, we’re opening up new opportunities for decentralized applications to thrive. Tellor ensures that Lisk’s network is equipped with reliable, secure, and trustless data, reinforcing the shared mission of both networks to create a scalable, user-friendly experience for all.

Technical Details

Tellor’s deployment on Lisk follows our established approach for EVM-compatible chains, utilizing the latest version of the Tellor protocol. Developers familiar with Tellor on other networks will find the integration process on Lisk to be straightforward and efficient, allowing them to quickly access the decentralized data feeds needed for their applications.
