We will be upgrading Tellor’s Palmito Testnet to v6.1.6 around 01:53 PM EST on Wednesday, July 22nd!
Tellor Release v6.1.6 has been in development for a while now, and it is packed with new features, improvements, and bug fixes.
For reporters, we added an MsgWithdrawTipToBalance transaction that allows reporters or selectors to withdraw their reporter rewards to their wallet after a 21 day waiting period.
Also for selectors who want to switch to a different reporter, the SwitchReporter mechanism has been refactored so selectors can potentially change reporters without waiting the full 21-day period. Selectors still need to wait until the “old” reporter has no reports still in “open” status (subject to dispute).
Guardrails have been added to help prevent accidentally selecting a reporter when the selection would give that reporter more than 30% of the total network reporter power. Likewise, delegations will be blocked if they would put the validator over 30% of the total network stake.
Good news for Tellor node operators who like docker, official docker images will now be available for all public releases!
